Bessie Pearl Reed, age 101, of Ashburn, VA, formerly of Paducah and Detroit, MI passed away, Sunday, January 28, 2018, 1:47 a.m., at her residence.

She was a former member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of Paducah.

She is survived by one son , Billy Irvin of Detroit, MI and one daughter , Sylvia Huff of Paola, KS; seven grandchildren , fourteen great-grandchildren and other relatives .

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Woodfork and Stella Jenkins Woodfork; four sisters, one brother and two grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2018, 12:00 Noon, at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home. Eric Doss will officiate and burial will follow in the Blandville Cemetery.
