Obituary
Bessie Lee Cummings, 93, formerly of South Fulton, Tennessee, died Tuesday, March 1, 2016, 9:25 am at Trevecca Health and Rehabilitation Care Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
She was a member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in South Fulton and was the owner and operator of Cummings Beauty Shop in South Fulton.
She is survived by three sons, Darryl N. Cummings of Rockford, IL; Charles S. Cummings of Milwaukee, WI, Byron C. Cummings of Louisville, one daughter, Beverly C. Parker of Antioch, TN; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tim Clark and Beulah Olive Clark; her husband Nelson Cummings, a son, Rodney O. Cummings; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 4, 2016 11:00 am. at Greater Antioch Missionary Baptist in Fulton with the Reverends Leroy Brent and Jessie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery of Fulton.
Friends may call also on Friday at the church from 10:00 am until the funeral hour.
