Obituary
Benjamin Franklin Blakely, 91, Paducah, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013, 3:53 am, at Superior Care Home-Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah.
Benjamin was of the Baptist faith and a US Navy Veteran. He was formerly employed in environmental services at Martin Marietta.
He is survived by his daughter, Fayette Clark of Paducah; one granddaughter; two grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Blakely; father and mother, Virginia Jenkins, and one sister.
Funeral services were Monday, February 25, 2013, 12:00 noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, with Reverend Michael Wade officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends called on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the funeral hour.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
