Aundrey Z. Ligon, Sr. 59, Paducah, died Thursday, May 26, 2011, 6:16 a.m.at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Ligon was a member of Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and West Kentucky Vocational School. Mr. Ligon was employed with Florence and Hutcheson, INC. for 42 years and was currently working as a Lab Technician. Mr. Ligon was a member of the Pacesetter's Bowling League and the Paducah Duffers Golfers.

Mr. Ligon was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie C. Ligon and Mamie Lou Ligon-Martin.

Mr. Ligon is survived by his wife of 31 years, Myra L. Johnson Ligon, Paducah, KY; three sons, Chris Johnson, Columbus, OH, Aundrey Ligon, Jr., Bowling Green, KY, and Harold Ligon, Rantoul, IL; two sisters, Jean Nailing and Norine Clark, both of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Carl Ligon, Defiance, OH, and Charles C. W. Ligon, Paducah, KY; several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 1, 2011, 1:00 P. M. at Mt Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in Paducah with Reverend Calvin R. Cole, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, KY.

The family will receive visitors, Tuesday, May 31, 2011, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, 1229 Madison Street. Friends may call Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
