Artie Petty Wickes, 57, of Paducah, Kentucky passed away April 30, 2018 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

Ms. Wickes was a graduate of Murray High School and Murray State University where she obtained her Associates Degree in Communication Engineering. She formerly was a disc jockey as "Lovely Laura" with WDXR.

Ms. Wickes was also employed at Keeton Correctional Center.

She is survived by her Husband, William Wickes, Corinth, MS ; Three Daughters, Anya S. Petty, Racine, WI , Aza'Jerron Wickes, Paducah, KY, and Tiffeny Marthrell, Paducah, KY; Six Grandchildren; One Great-Grandchild; Six Sisters, and several cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Petty Jr. and Artie Mae Wall Petty.
