Arthur Davenport Jr., age 72, of Paducah passed away on Monday, December 2, 2019, 5:19 a.m. at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

He was a member of First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church and retired Project Manager from Paducah Housing Authority of Paducah.

He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Davenport Sr., and Dorothy Williams, one son Donovan Davenport Sr., and one sister.

He is survived by Five grandchildren; One Great-Granddaughter; Four brothers; Steven Davenport, Tommy Davenport, Solon Davenport all of Las Vegas, NV and Allen Tramell of Los Angeles, CA; Two sisters; Sharon Ashby of MS; and Stacy Davenport of Las Vegas, NV; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019, 12 noon at First Liberty Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. James Topp and Rev. Michael Wade officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Monday, from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
