Anthony O. Thomas, affectionately known as "Tony" left this earthly life on Monday, August 19, 2024, 7:52 p.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah to answer the call of his heavenly father. At the time of his passing, he had reached the age of 64 years, 7 months and 29 days.
Anthony was born on December 20, 1959, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, to Lowell Thomas and Brenda Burton Thomas. He received certification in truck driving and was previously employed as a professional truck driver with KTDS Trucking Company of Paducah until his health began to fail. Tony's humble and loving personality was his major attribute. He was a very sincere, loving, caring, private and generous person who would go out of his way to help anyone. He was very friendly and loved to laugh, but he would speak his mind and he could be stubborn at times. He was a great protector to his family. His favorite recreational time was spent as a nature lover, traveling, listening to music and watching action/thriller movies. He was also a great roller skater. He was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams the New England Patriots and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
