Obituary
Anthony Eugene Meeky III, 61, Paducah, died at 1:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2001, at his residence.
He was formerly employed with the Paducah Public School System as a substitute teacher at Paducah Middle School . He also was employed by General Motors Corporation and was a Veteran of the US Army, serving during the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by a son, Nairobi Burkett of Flint, MI; five grandchildren, and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony Eugene Meeky II and Celestene Meeky.
There will be no public visitation or funeral service.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
