Anthony L. "Tony" Farmer, 59, of Paducah died Friday, 7:45 p.m., at the University of Louisville Hospital.
He was a former member of Harrison Street Baptist Church, a graduate of West Kentucky State Vocational School with certification in the Culinary Arts as a master chef and a veteran of the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul E. Farmer, Jr. and Jonell Blair Farmer.
Farmer is survived by four brothers, Paul E. Farmer, Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio, Larry Joe Farmer, Galesburg, Illinois, Ronnie Leon Farmer of Owensboro, KY and Dwayne Lamont Farmer of Paducah, KY; five Nephews, three Nieces, several great nephews, great nieces and cousins.
Services are scheduled for Thursday, August 12, 2010, 12 o'clock noon at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. W.G. Harvey officiating, and burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery with military rites.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour.
