Annie Catherine Ridgeway Forrest, 67, Paducah, KY died Saturday, January 26, 2013, 9:00 pm at McCracken Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Paducah.
Ms. Forrest was a member of Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries where she served on the Culinary Committee. She graduated from West Kentucky Vocational School with a degree in Cosmetology. Ms. Forrest owned and operated Quinn's Interior Cleaning Service. She was a volunteer for the Lupus Foundation.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Ridgeway, Sr. and Nellie M. Edwards Ridgeway.
She is survived by one son, Spencer Gregory Forrest, Paducah, KY; two daughters, Iris Forrest-Horice, Paducah, KY and Roxanne Rogers, Lansing, MI; thirteen grandchildren, three brothers, Sonny Ridgeway, Paducah, KY, Sylvester Ridgeway, Jr., Orlando, FL, and Lewis Ridgeway, Louisville, KY; five sisters, Betty Mason, Indianapolis, IN, Norma Shaw, Sycamore, IL, Barbara Barrett, Rosetta Chism, and Janice Jackson, all of Lexington, KY; one aunt, Mary Talley, Paducah, KY; and one uncle, Robert Ridgeway, Paducah, KY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are scheduled for 12 O'Clock Noon, Friday, February 1, 2013 at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend James L Hudson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Paducah, Kentucky.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday, February 1, 2013 from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour.
