Anna Lowanda McCutcheon, age 81, of Metropolis, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, 12:45 p.m., at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was a lifelong member of First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis where she served in the Sisterhood Ministry.

Anna was a licensed childcare provided for the State of Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Brown Jr., and Gladys McGhee Brown McCutcheon, four brothers and one sister.

She is survived by four children, Denise Holcomb, Liverpool, NY; Toni Goodman, Metropolis, IL; Jason Goodman, Raytown, MO; Lorenzo, Goodman, Metropolis, IL; 13 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one sister, Geraldine McCutcheon, Metropolis, IL One Brother , Billy Joe McCutcheon, Paducah, KY. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 12:00 p.m., at First Missionary Baptist Church in Metropolis with Rev. Orlando McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church on Tuesday form 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
