Anita Faye Dowdy Stout, age 70 of Paducah, passed away on Saturday, September 14, 2019, 1:18 a.m.at Baptist Health Paducah.

She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church and was previously employed as a bus monitor for Metropolis, Illinois School Systems.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Marion Stout, one son, James Bradley Stout, parents; Paul Dowdy and Louise Winters Dowdy, one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by one daughter ; Minister Tamara (Minister Manulito) Maxwell of Paducah; two sons; Richard (Tonja) Stout of West Paducah; James David (NiJeatte) Stout of Byrnes Mill, MO, eighteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters; Phyllis (Larry) Buckles of Villa Ridge, IL, Paula (Steve) Justen of Warner Robins, GA; several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin R. Cole Sr., presiding.
