Anita Levese Carruthers' Obituary
Anita Levese Carruthers, 50, of Paducah, died Saturday, 5:55 p.m., at Western Baptist Hospital.
Services will be Saturday, 2:00 p.m. at Harrison Street Missionary Baptist Church. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour. Reverend James L. Hudson and Reverend Lewis Carruthers will officiate. Burial will follow burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Anita was a member of New Ebenezer Baptist Church and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and West Kentucky Vocational School with certification in Culinary Arts.
She is survived by her husband Warren Priddy of Paducah; two sons, Calvin Carruthers and Warren Carruthers both of Paducah; a daughter Monica Devese Carruthers of Paducah; her Mother, Lucille Clark of Paducah; five sisters, Carmen Carruthers and Carla Carruthers both of Paducah; Brenda Carruthers of Dallas, TX; Melissa Clark and Jolisha James both of Jackson, TN; a brother Warren Carruthers of Paducah; nine grandchildren; eight aunts; two uncles; several nieces, nephews, and great-nephews.
Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
