Andrea Laine McDonald Sutton, age 72, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022, 10:25 a.m., at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center of Paducah.

She was a member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church where she served in several ministries including the mass and women's choir and the Missionary Society. Andrea was also a member of the Interdenominational Union Choir and was the owner and operator of Esque's Retail Clothing.

She is survived by one son , Michael Gabriel D. McDonald of Metropolis, IL; two daughters , Mildred Louise McDonald of Metropolis, IL and Mary Nicole (Brandon) McDonald Williams of St. Louis, MO; nine grandchildren ; McKenna Stewart of Metropolis, Amira Noyes Smith of St. Louis, MO; Miles McDonald of Metropolis, IL, Levi McDonald of Paducah, McCall Rogers of Metropolis, JaKira Gabriele Gambe and JaKeia Rose Gamble both of Nashville, TN, Sebastian Williams of St. Louis, MO and Brandon Williams Jr. of Marietta, GA; three brothers , Malcolm McDonald of Denver, CO, Neil McDonald of Milwaukee, WI and Bruce (Edith) McDonald of Oakland, CA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Royal James Sutton; her parents, Early Clauzell McDonald and Bernice Summerville McDonald, four brothers, Linden McDonald, Douglas McDonald, Dennis McDonald and Michael McDonald.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2022, 12:00 Noon, at Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Calvin R. Cole, Sr. and Reverend Donna G. Hawkins officiating.

Friends may also call at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
