Obituary
Amontre' Markell Shelton, 15, of Paducah passed away on Monday, January 5, 2015, 6:40 pm, at Lourdes Hospital.
He was a member of First Love Seventh Day Adventist Church and was an 8th grade student at Paducah Middle School where he played football.
He is survived by his parents, Brandon Terrell Shelton of Paducah and Rhonda Mays of Paducah; his step-father Vernon Jackson, all of Paducah; three brothers, K'Marion Mays, Mario Ramsey and Jordauyn White all of Paducah; three sisters, Brayah Shelton and Astaria Ramsey both of Paducah and Aliyah Jackson of Chicago, IL; his grandparents, Charles Crockett, Amanda Prather, and Robert Carter, all of Paducah; and his great-grandmother, Retha Garnett of Paducah; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lois Carter and Robert Garnett and great-grandparents, Mary Frances Walker and Drue E. Garnett.
Graveside services will be conducted at Oak Grove Cemetery at 3:30 pm on Saturday, January 10, 2015, with Reverend Pierre Quinn officiating.
Friends may also call at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.
