Alvin C., "BIG O", Jones, Jr., age 73, of Paducah passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018, 8:37 a.m. at Baptist Health-Paducah.

He attended Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church and was a retired truck driver for Central Paving Company.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin C. Jones, Sr., Jones and Lucille Burks Jones, two sisters, Geneva Jones and Effie Warfield, and one brother, Ralph Jones, Sr.; one nephew, Jimmy Jones and one niece, Samantha Jones.

Survivor's include two sons, Rennie Jones of Lansing, MI and Antonio Maurice Jones of Paducah; two daughters , Deborah Flint and LaShawn Denise Ferman both of Lansing, MI; three brothers, A.T. Jones, Sylvester Jones and Jerry Jones all of Paducah; four sisters , Juanita Watson of Denver, CO, Patricia Ann Jones, Rose Chappell and Virgie Jones all of Paducah; 18 Grandchildren and several Great-Grandchildren; one uncle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018, 1:00 P.M., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating.

Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 12 noon until the funeral hour.
