Alice Boyd Massie of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. She attended Kentucky State University and Paducah Community College and was a practicing Registered Nurse for more than 45 years.

She was a longtime member of Burks Chapel AME Church. She was a member of Addie Lucas Missionary Society, Lay Organization, Church Decorator, Willing Workers and Sarah Allen Homemakers Club.

She leaves to celebrate her memory, four daughters, Donna Massie-Cobb, Jacksonville , FL; Robbin Massie, Lebanon, IL; Thelma Jackson, Bowling, Green, KY; and Allyson Wynn, Chicago, IL; one son, Myron Massie of Paducah; four grandchildren : several nieces, nephews, and cousins .

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Campbell Massie, Sr. and son Robert Campbell Massie, Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 2, 2019, 12 Noon at Burks Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church with Reverend Benessa Sweat officiating.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Entombment will take place at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
