Alice Marie Bradford, age 87, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2020, 7:26 a.m., at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Metropolis, IL.

She was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ where she served in the church care ministry.

She is survived by two daughters, Loretta Deransburg of Metropolis and Deloris Bradford of Paducah; three sons, Derrick Bradford Kankakee, IL, Calvin Bradford of Hobert, IN, and Herbert Lymar Bradford Metropolis; one step-daughter, Charlene Marie Daughtery of Metropolis; twenty grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Katherine Hawthorne of Missouri City, TX, Inez Tatum of Jackson, MS, Magdalene Hall of Mt. Olive, MS, and Mary Young of New Jersey, NY; two brothers, Johnnie Bryant of San Diego, CA and Albert Bryant of New Jersey, NY; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Calvin Leroy Bryant and Mamie Lee Griffith Bryant; her husband, Orland Odell Bradford; one son, Charles Edward Bradford, Sr.; step-daughter, Sherry Bradford Reeves and one step-son, Orlando Bradford Cruz and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020, 2:00 p.m., at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Shawn Cofield officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in the Rock Hill Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS.

Friends may also call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
