Obituary
Aleasha Denise Moore, 12, of Paducah, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013, 1:19 pm, at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville.
Aleasha was a member of Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church and would have attended Paducah Middle School this fall. She was a member of the basketball team.
She is survived by her parents, William Patrick Sims and Aleatha F. Moore, both of Paducah; two sisters, Tyanna Sims and Shyanne Sims, both of Paducah; two brothers, Williliam R. Moore and Dwight Cook, both of Paducah; maternal grandmother, Jackie D. Adams of Paducah; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather George K. Prather and paternal grand-parents William Sims and Lucille Miller.
Funeral service will be Saturday, August 3, 2013, 1:00 pm at Washington Street Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Raynarldo Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may also call on Friday, August 2, 2013, at Pettus –Rowland Funeral Home from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again on Saturday at the church from 12:00 noon until the funeral hour.
