Adarrius Dean Sims, 28, of Paducah, Kentucky, was called to his heavenly home on Monday, December 18, 2023, 4:33 p.m., at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.  He was born March 15, 1995, in Paducah, Kentucky, the son of Darryl Dean Hodge and Tammy Sims.

Adarrius was a member of Nehemiah Christian Ministries in Paducah and a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He was employed as a maintenance worker at White Haven.

A loving, kind, family man, Adarrius enjoyed being with all his family. He was always willing to help someone else, and never complained no matter how he may have been feeling. Because of his giving personality, he was well-loved by so many others. He loved music, especially rap and instrumentals and was a car enthusiast.

Preceding him in death were his maternal grandmother and grandfather, Lucille Miller and William Sims, and his paternal grandfather and grandmother, Reverend Jimmy Hodge and Francis Donald.

Left behind to cherish sweet memories are His Parents, Darryl Dean Hodge and Tammy Sims of Paducah, Kentucky; Two Sons, Latauris Sims and Deandrea A. Barnett, both of Paducah, Kentucky; Two Brothers, Leoric (Shene) Sims of Illinois, and Jason Owens of Paducah; Four Sisters, Ciarra Griffin of Ballard County, Shantae Ferguson of Louisville, Kentucky, Shontae Sims and Farren Sims, both of Paducah, Kentucky, and a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends and Several Aunts and Uncles.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Friday, January 5, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Bishop Charles Dunbar officiating.  Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemtery.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until he funeral hour.
