Gregory D. Laster was born December 20, 1960, to J. D. Laster and Trula Mae Moffitt Laster in Paducah, Kentucky.

Gregory departed this life on Monday, January 17, 2022 after battle with cancer in Oklahoma City, OK.

In 1979, Gregory graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School and enlisted in the United States Marines, where he served for four years. After his service in the Marines, he achieved a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Gregory worked as a cook for many years.

Gregory was preceded in death by his parents; J. D. Laster and Trula Mae Moffitt Laster, one daughter, Sheronica Laster; and one sister , Charlotte Laster.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife , Adena Arnett-Laster; four sons; Tyrone Arnett (Christine), Timothy Arnett (Jennifer), Julius Arnett (Jayla), and Markus Arnett (Samantha), two sisters, Elaine Laster Pizzini and Dranda K. (David) Young, one brother, Jeffrey Laster; three grandchildren , Markus Arnett, Julius Arnett, and Neveah Arnett, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Gregory will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A memorial service in his honor will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Pettus Rowland Funeral Home with Reverend Alfred Anderson officiating.

All in attendance are required to wear a mask.
